This course focuses on the component of theoretical underpinnings, and the rules of writing and organization of the various journalistic arts.  It is considered the primary basis for the construction of the news paper and its composition.  News is the most important arts of journalistic editing; it constitutes the core of information material to the news paper, and it gives news value.   In this course students have the opportunity to learn about news editing taught in theory and practice and will receive training on the editing devices/process in the hours allocated to it.
