This course focuses on the importance of acquiring a foreign language in journalistic work.Having a high command and mastery over a particular language is likely to expand the journalist’s intellectual insights, increase his/her ability to communicate effectively and reach out to others; and diversify his/her sources of information.In addition, there is no denying that the English language has great importance in our country therefore this course aims at strengthening the student’s journalistic ability to read, understand, speak, write, and translate.
