This course involves the definition of the art of photo journalism with the clarification of the difference between it (the use of camera) and photography.  This course underlies the importance of journalistic photos and its role in shaping public opinion, including a presentation of the most important news values in it.  This course focuses also on an important stage which deals with introducing students to the major components of the camera and how to use it as well as how to train student to develop and process films in black or white and how to print such photos in the laboratory of journalistic/press photography.
